Launched in September 2021, this BMZ-funded Berufsbildungspartnerschaftsprojekte (BBP) project aims to align Georgia’s vocational training system with modern economic needs, benefiting both companies and young people. The project involves collaboration with educational institutions, businesses, and government bodies.
The GCCI plays a key role in reforming Georgia's vocational training system, supported by its partnership with IHK-Exportakademie GmbH. Together, they launched a pilot "Training the Trainers" course, now offered by GCCI to companies and educational institutions.
The project also aims to boost interest in vocational training through targeted campaigns and information events. Plans include an Infomobile to provide flexible outreach.
This partnership exemplifies how BBP projects can elevate vocational training and contribute to a sustainable system in Georgia.
